Junior Production Planner with english

Important Chemical company based in Vallés Occidental(Barcelona), is looking for a Junior Production Planner. Will ensure product availability for those items under his planning responsibility by optimizing inventory and service levels.

• Define the production scheduling - Optimize plant saturation.

• Monitor inventory levels - Define reorder point and safety stock levels of finished products and raw materials.

• Issue raw material requirements to the purchasing team.

• Minimize the risk of over-stock and consequently of slow moving items.

• Confirm order dates - Maximize the level of service to customers.

• Provide reports to monitor the main KPI's of the function.

• A good command of written and spoken English and Spanish, a good knowledge of the Office Package (in particular of Excel) is required.

• At least 1 year of experience working in Supply Chain, Planning, Logistics, Purchasing or Production department.

• Academic background: supply chain management or engineering.
