Grupo Crit selects a person to fill the position of Business Development Representative for an important American multinational, located in the centre of Madrid.

This individual will be the Business Development representative within the Business development central department. This role will act as the strategic lead generation partner to BD teams (Sports; Music and New Revenue Streams) , helping to set up appointments and find potential partners for the team. This person will be the first step in the prospecting process, qualifying and generating new opportunities and BD teams will rely on his persuasive abilities and creative methods of finding potential partners. The role requires a confident, driven, self-starter who is professional and positive and not afraid of challenging work.
The role will report into the Head of Music BD.

This position is critical for driving business development efforts.
As a Business Development Representative, you're the first person to get in touch with prospective clients. You get to do a full discovery, learn about their goals and pain points, and see if StubHub is a good fit for their needs. As the first point of contact, you must be able to understand the diverse business needs of our event organisers and content right holders. You're quick on your feet, and your grit and resilience help you handle objections like a pro. You'll use your convincing personality and passion for winning to raise the bar of success, documenting and tracking qualified opportunities to pass on to the Business Development Management team.

Business Development Responsibilities:


Qualify leads from Industry Rankings/Databases/Exhibitions/Conferences or any other sources as sales opportunities
Contact potential clients through cold calls and emails
Present our company to potential clients
Identify client needs and suggest appropriate products/services
Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market
Set up meetings or calls between (prospective) clients and Business Development Managers
Ensuring data-consistency and quality
Stay up-to-date with new products/services and new pricing/payment plans


Requirements:


1+ years experience in a sales role in a fast paced environment, ideally doing lead generation and cold-calling.
Full professional proficiency in English and Spanish(bilingual)
A fearless ability to proactively engage new clients
A consultative business development approach and knowledge of how to maintain control of a conversation
The skills to passionately and clearly articulate value
A knack for asking great questions to uncover issues with a prospect's current process
A firm understanding of how to qualify buyer interest and identify target customers
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
A team-player attitude with a strong desire to help improve internal processes beyond just your day-to-day tasks
Deadline-driven, detail-oriented, self-starter
Strong understanding of technology as well as how to efficiently use it
Highly motivated, resourceful, and results-orientated to achieve goals
Search engines, web analytics and business research tools acumen
Familiarity using SalesForce
