My client is a cutting-edge tech events organizer that brings together industry leaders, innovators, and enthusiasts. Their mission is to create unforgettable experiences that drive knowledge sharing, networking, and business growth. I am looking for a dynamic and results-driven Director of Event Sales (m/f/d) to join the team as the first, defining person in that capacity, to enable further growth.





  • Sales Strategy Development: Develop and implement a robust sales strategy to achieve revenue targets and maximize event profitability

  • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and motivate the event sales team to achieve individual and team sales goals

  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, sponsors, and partners to ensure long-term collaboration and satisfaction

  • Market Analysis: Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities, industry trends, and competitive landscape

  • Sales Campaigns: Design and execute effective sales campaigns, including outreach, presentations, and negotiations

  • Revenue Growth: Drive revenue growth through sponsorship sales, exhibitor sales, and ticket sales for tech events

  • Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing, operations, and content teams to ensure seamless event execution and exceptional attendee experience

  • Reporting: Provide regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance analysis to senior management

Requisitos mínimos

  • Experience: Minimum of 7 years of experience in event sales, with a focus on tech events preferred

  • Leadership: Proven leadership experience with the ability to grow, inspire and lead a high-performing sales team

  • Sales Acumen: Strong sales and negotiation skills with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets

  • Industry Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of the tech industry and its key players

  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Relationship Building: Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, sponsors, and partners

  • Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
