Our client is a reference and leading company in the pharmaceutical industry. Currently they are looking for a Global Marketing Excellence Lead to lead the new department of the recent created team of Global Commercial Excellence. The candidate will be supported to move to Portugal and be based in the HQ office (Porto).




Reporting to the VP Global Commercial Excellence, this professional will be responsible for:


  • Align team outputs with strategic and operational brand-specific and brand-agnostic requirements at both global and affiliate levels;

  • Lead and manage the development of Global Brand Plans and Global launch plans through co-creation strategies at Global Cross-functional and GBT level;

  • Support and align the GBP process within the organization and support Global Brand Plans dissemination to all affiliates following C-Suite challenge and endorsement;

  • Develop and oversee the launch process, ensuring regular monitoring of defined KPIs and holding relevant stakeholders accountable to expectations;

  • Direct the design and implementation of marketing induction programs for new staff, ensuring the delivery of impactful onboarding experiences through content creation and updates;

  • Regularly assess and challenge Marketing Excellence program to ensure that marketing capabilities are in place throughout the company to support excellence in execution;

  • Collaborate in the omni-channel capabilities training and support the Digital Excellence Team to plan and execute the omni-channel campaigns in collaboration with Global and Local teams;

  • Drive a marketing cultural change towards a truly customer-centric model that is insights driven and externally focused.

Requisitos mínimos

The ideal profile should have:


  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, Management or related field (Master's preferred);

  • +7 years of experience in pharma business environment;

  • Experience in launching products at local or regional level;

  • Experience as Business Unit Head, Global/Regional Marketing Lead and/or Marketing Excellence at global or local level;

  • Fluent in English written and spoken;

  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements in the EU pharmaceutical industry;

  • Positive can-do attitude, proactive, and a self-starter

  • Ability to interact and influence multiple stakeholders up to C-suite level;

  • Ability to drive change with excellent communication and influencing skills;

  • Ability to work cross-functionally in a highly complex matrix environment;

  • Commercial operations experience (sales, marketing, at global or affiliate level.
