RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ROLE

In this role, you will be responsible for:

* Ensuring the accuracy and compliance of financial transactions, revenue accounting, and internal controls, as well as the daily auditing, verification, and reconciliation of revenue-related processes. Your daily tasks will include:
* General auditing and record-keeping.
* Revenue audits and DRR, refunds and payments, complimentary rooms, and food and beverage checks.
* Voids, discounts, and vouchers.
* Cash reconciliations.
* End-of-period procedures.
* Compliance and reporting.


* Ensuring compliance with local tax regulations.
* Supporting monthly closing processes and account reconciliations.

* You will have working knowledge of various software programmess. It´s a plus if you have experience in Opera, Simphony or Netsuite.
* Advanced Excel skills (e.g., VLOOKUP, SUMIFS, etc.)
* Attention to detail, critical thinking, teamwork, and the ability to handle confidential information.
* You must have a minimum of five years' experience in the finance department in the hotel industry, preferably in 5-star hotels. Knowledge of the PGC and Spanish taxes is a must
* Degree in Business Administration and/or Business Administration
* Fluent in Spanish and English, further languages desirable
* Elegible to work in EU
* Passionate about hospitality and an enthusiastic demeanor, with a desire to represent the OKU philosophy in your professional
