RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ROLE



* Surveillance and Safety: continuously monitor the pool and surrounding areas to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with hotel safety regulations.
* Maintain a clear and unobstructed view of all pool areas.
* Identify and mitigate potential hazards in and around the pool.
* Respond quickly to any pool emergency, including water rescues, first aid, and CPR.
* Contact emergency services when necessary.
* Provide friendly and attentive service to pool guests.
* Answer guest questions and provide information about pool rules and hotel services.
* Maintain a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere for guests.
* Ensure the pool and surrounding areas are clean and tidy.
* Ensure pool users comply with hotel rules.


CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS:

* Current lifeguard certification: Official Consell Balear -approved pool certification.
* Current CPR and first aid certification.
* Excellent swimming and water rescue skills.
* Strong observation and surveillance skills.
* Ability to remain calm and focused in stressful situations.
* Ability to enforce rules and maintain order.
* Availability to work rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays.

RESPONSABILIDADES DEL ROL:

* Vigilancia y Seguridad: monitorear continuamente la piscina y las áreas circundantes para prevenir accidentes y asegurar el cumplimiento de las normas de seguridad del hotel.
* Mantener una vista clara y sin obstrucciones de todas las áreas de la piscina.
* Identificar y mitigar posibles peligros dentro y alrededor de la piscina.
* Responder rápidamente a cualquier emergencia en la piscina, incluyendo rescates acuáticos, primeros auxilios y RCP.
* Contactar a los servicios de emergencia cuando sea necesario.
* Proporcionar un servicio amable y atento a los huéspedes de la piscina.
* Responder a las preguntas de los huéspedes y proporcionar información sobre las normas de la piscina y los servicios del hotel.
* Mantener un ambiente relajado y agradable para los huéspedes.
* Asegurar que la piscina y las áreas circundantes estén limpias y ordenadas.
* Asegurar que los usuarios de la piscina cumplan con las normas del hotel.


REQUISITOS DEL CANDIDATO:

* Certificación de socorrista vigente: Certificación de piscina oficial aprobada por el Consell Balear.
* Certificación vigente de RCP y primeros auxilios.
* Excelentes habilidades de natación y rescate acuático.
* Fuertes habilidades de observación y vigilancia.
* Capacidad para mantener la calma y la concentración en situaciones de estrés.
* Capacidad para hacer cumplir las normas y mantener el orden.
* Disponibilidad para trabajar en turnos rotativos, incluyendo fines de semana y días festivos.
