About the Role:


An opportunity has arisen for a Sous Chef Position (Cap Roig Restaurant) to join our Culinary Department in Jumeirah Mallorca.


The main duties and responsibilities of this role:


  • Assist the Outlet Head Chef in menu planning, food cost control, and inventory management to ensure efficiency and quality.

  • Supervise and coordinate kitchen staff, ensuring high culinary standards and smooth daily operations.

  • Maintain compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations, ensuring a clean and well-organized kitchen.

  • Oversee food presentation and quality, ensuring all dishes meet established standards before reaching guests.

  • Collaborate with other departments to enhance the overall dining experience and adapt to guest feedback.

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:

  • Advance Food and Hygiene Training

Experience


  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role.

  • Worked in previous in Luxury brand Hotels and Restaurants.

Skills


  • Good level of English

  • Friendly, approachable and professional

  • Demonstrates excellent supervisory and leadership skill

  • Works well under pressure

  • Demonstrates flexibility in working according to the needs of the business

  • Excellent customer care skills
