About the Role:
An opportunity has arisen for an IT Coordinator position to join our IT Department in Jumeirah Mallorca.
The main responsabilities of the role are:
- Oversee the repair, update, and maintenance of IT systems, ensuring data recovery and emergency preparedness. Manage incident and service requests, providing support to hotel staff and guests across multiple channels.
- Deploy and maintain IT equipment (e.g., PCs, laptops, iPads), manage user accounts, and provide support for applications and devices (e.g., Micros, Opera MS, Wi-Fi). Ensure backups, audit reports, and daily logs comply with hotel standards.
- Address and resolve software issues, manage enhancement requests, and recommend system upgrades. Assist with AV setups and support RMS technology in hotel rooms.
- Work with Group IT, provide regular reports to IT management, and support audits.
- Develop emergency protocols for IT system failures and ensure service delivery meets agreed-upon levels and service level agreements.
- Manage IT store inventory and supplies, provide out-of-hours technical support, and ensure proper resource availability during staff absences or vacations.

About you:
The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:
Qualification & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with a specialization in IT / ITIL or CobIT Certification.
- Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) or equivalent professional certification.
- Previous experience on a similar position.
- Desirable Experience in the 5-star market.

- Must possess organizational skills such as time management, team management, resource allocation, prioritization, multi-tasking.
- Creative decision making and problem-solving skills
- Build engagement through diverse teams and working collaboratively
- Good level of English and Spanish.
