Descripción del empleo

In the Electrical Machines Research Group we have been working for more than 15 years on the electromagnetic, thermal and mechanical design of all types of electrical machines. In recent years we have been focusing all our research on the aeronautical and aerospace world with the goal of designing high power density machines.

This involves optimising both the electromagnetic and thermal designs of the machines, achieving more compact machines.

We offer the possibility of carrying out a research project through the development of a doctorate in the design of high-power density motors (axial motors, halbach magnet synchronous motors...) that increase their power density by reducing their volume without losing performance. To carry out this research project, you will be part of a team of more than 10 PhDs and 5 doctoral students with whom you will collaborate side by side.

At the same time, you will make use of the latest fluid dynamics simulation software.

Requisitos mínimos
