IT DevOps Cloud Specialist English (Automotive) Indefinite Contract

MARLEX is looking for an IT DevOps Cloud Specialist with Advanced English for a multinational company (Automotive).

Responsibilities:

• Key responsibilities include evaluating local requirements, ensuring projects are executed correctly, and taking on the role of a project developer and implementer. Continuous monitoring, implementation progress and resolution of potential issues are crucial to ensure the seamless integration of projects into both the company and the Dealers Network.


• Furthermore, this position entails analyzing international systems, performing essential technical development tasks, and aligning with the specific needs and guidelines, such as architecture, security, compliance, and risk.

Key accountabilities of the function

Project Management:

• Collaborate in the development of national and international projects and network development; analyze local needs and oversee the correct and appropriate development of projects. Whenever necessary, develop and implement projects, follow up implementation, and solve any potential incidents to ensure their correct implementation into the company and the Dealers Network.


• Analyze international systems, carry out the necessary technical development, and adapt the needs and guidelines (e.g. Architecture, Security, Compliance and Risk) of the company.


• Provide support and ongoing advice to the different user’s departments; identify problems and offer possible solutions in collaboration with the company, Help Desk, the Dealers Network, and other departments.

Application Operations:

• Ensure the correct running operation and monitor the performance of applications and servers.


• Close collaboration with external partners and vendors to ensure the availability of the systems.


• Troubleshooting application errors and performance tuning of national applications.

Cloud Management:

• Monitor and maximize efficiency in the use of private or public clouds.


• Set up and maintain continuous integration and delivery pipelines, automate deployment processes.


• Supervise the design and build the data infrastructure for the organization's cloud-based applications.


• Steer the set up and maintenance of data warehouses and data lakes, design and implement data pipelines, and ensure the data is secure and compliant.

Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Technical Engineering or Computer Science, or some other technical degree.


• Work experience, Leadership experience:

Minimum 3 years experience as an Application Development Functional Analyst.

Minimum 3 years experience as a Project Manager (valuable within a multinational

company or automotive sector).

• Knowledge of technology trends, applications and design patterns


• High level of knowledge of database management (Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL)


• Advanced level in programming languages (C#, PL/SQL, Python)


• Advanced level in project management tools (Jira, Confluence, etc.).


• Cloud Specialist (AWS Glue , AWS Athena, Bucket S3, Terraform, EKS, etc.)


• Good communication skills (written and verbal)


• Ability in customers and processes orientation


• Analytical skills and results orientated (performance management/continuous improvement)


• Business English is a must
