Team Leader AP/AR

• Solid experience in Order to Cash department in multinational companies.|Fluent English skills in spoken and written and SAP FICO

Important multinational Group is looking for a TEAM LEADER AP/AR located in Madrid. It is a Corporate role. The ideal candidate will have minimum 6-7 years of total experience in a multinational group in a Order to Cash department (AR is more important). Experience in a manufacturing/ industrial sector will be very desirable. Experience working in a sales company that sells products, not services, is also ok. Experience in HQ/ Regional HQ/ Cluster will be a plus. Experience working with SAP FI/CO is a must. Excellent English level is a must. Workplace type: On-site. Office in the center of Madrid

• Technical and personnel management and development of the accounts receivable and payable team with currently three employees


• Responsible for the coordination, control, and reconciliation of the day-to-day operations in collaboration with the Finance Shared Service Center as well as for the continuous development and improvement of the respective processes


• Balance sheet account reconciliation and clean-up of aged open items


• Responsible that the processes and controls in the OTC and PTP areas are appropriately documented, maintained, and applied (ICS)


• Preparation of weekly cash forecast in cooperation with Cash Controlling


• Participation in the preparation of the monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS and Swiss Code of Obligations as well as support for internal and external audits


• Intercompany invoicing, reconciliation, and netting


• Active support in various projects such as system implementations and process optimizations

• Salary package: Around 50.000 - 58.000 euros fixed salary + 10% bonus + fringe benefits.

• Solid basic education with further training in finance and accounting.


• Min. five years of professional experience in a similar function, preferably in an industrial or manufacturing company.


• Experience in project accounting is desired.


• Experiencia in accounts receivable (OTC) is a MUST.


• Excellent SAP FI/CO knowledge, further modules are a plus (MM, SD, PS, VIM)


• Solid MS Office user skills, especially Excel


• Fluent English skills in spoken and written, good German skills are a plus


• Enjoyment of operational activity, hands-on mentality


• Empathetic and cheerful personality with a flair for numbers, who can also handle hectic situations
