We are a family-owned multinational company based in Girona, specializing in the chemical industry. With a strong commitment to innovation and quality, we have a global presence and an established reputation in our field. As part of our continued expansion, we are seeking an Area Manager to oversee our operations in the UK market.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement business strategies to drive sales growth and market share in the UK.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, distributors, and key stakeholders.
- Identify new business opportunities and provide market insights to the management team.
- Manage the sales cycle, from prospecting to closing deals, ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory requirements in the UK.
- Collaborate with internal teams (R&D, production, and logistics) to ensure product delivery meets customer expectations.
- Travel to the UK for client meetings, trade shows, and market research (30-40% of the time).
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- At least 3-5 years of experience in a similar role within the chemical or industrial sector.
- Proven track record of sales and business development success in the UK market.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Fluency in English (C1 or higher); additional languages will be a plus.
- Availability to travel internationally (30-40% of the time).
- Results-driven, proactive, and capable of working independently while maintaining alignment with company goals.

- Formació a nivell de Grau Enginyeria o ADE, Econòmiques
- Valorable experiència prèvia en gestió de comptes claus o projectes
- Valorable domini de SAP
- Nivell alt d’Excel
- Idiomes:
- Nivell anglès alt
- Valorable segon idioma, preferentment el francès.
- Disponibilitat per viatjar un 40% del temps
- Busquem una persona capaç de treballar de manera autònoma, proactiva, amb excel·lents habilitats comunicatives, capacitat de negociació i passió per la feina ben feta.
