IT Manager (Belgrade)

In collaboration we are working with a leading B2B solution provider who is looking to recruit a IT Manager to join their team in Belgrade.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Oversee firewalls, routers, switches, servers, and storage systems


• Configure and troubleshoot network devices (VLANs, BGP, OSPF, NAT, VPN)


• Ensure secure firewall configurations, access control, and manage DHCP, DNS, and load balancing


• Monitor and optimize network performance for routing, switching, and wireless systems


• Address network bottlenecks and ensure reliable, scalable network operations


• Maintain physical and virtual servers (Windows & Linux) to ensure smooth operations


• Focus on Linux (Ubuntu), handling updates, package management, and kernel optimization


• Manage backups, disaster recovery, and failover procedures to protect infrastructure


• Implement and enforce security protocols for firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems


• Regularly assess risks and ensure compliance with industry standards


• Lead a team of IT professionals and ensure 24/7 system availability


• Manage on-call rotations, incident responses, and foster a culture of proactive maintenance


• Plan and execute IT infrastructure projects like system upgrades and migrations


• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, managing budgets, timelines, and resources.

REQUIREMENTS:

• 5+ years in IT infrastructure management or a related role


• Fluent in English both verbal an written


• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or a similar field


• Expertise in network hardware (firewalls, routers, switches), advanced networking protocols (BGP, OSPF, NAT, VLANs), network security, and Linux systems (preferably Ubuntu)


• Proven ability to manage 24x7 IT environments, with excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills


• Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) – an advantage


• Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) – an advantage


• Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator – an advantage


• ITIL Foundation – an advantage
