Senior Accountant (Limassol)

Key Responsibilities:

• 
  Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly management reports and analyze financial data to provide a clear picture of the company's financial health.


• 
  Compliance & Audit: Ensure compliance with accounting standards and liaise with external auditors for annual audits.


• 
  VAT & Payroll Management: Calculate VAT, submit forms, process payroll, and manage related documentation.


• 
  Budgeting & Forecasting: Assist the CFO in budget creation and ensure adherence to the financial schedule.


• 
  Financial Closing: Oversee month-end and year-end financial statement closing processes.


• 
  Mentorship & Review: Review journal entries by junior accountants, ensuring accuracy, and mentor junior team members to foster their growth.


• 
  Ad Hoc Duties: Support the CFO with additional tasks relevant to the company’s financial operations.

Requirements:

• 
  Education & Certification: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. ACA, ACCA, or CPA qualification required.


• 
  Experience: Minimum of 4 years of accounting experience, with previous experience in the FX industry a must.


• 
  Advanced Skills: Proficiency in MS Excel, including formulas and pivot tables, is essential.


• 
  Communication: Fluent in English, both verbal and written, with excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.


• 
  Attention to Detail: Ability to dissect and analyze financial data, with a hands-on approach to day-to-day operations.

  Team Player: Strong teamwork and leadership abilities, with the capacity to mentor junior staff.
