Technical Project Manager (m/f/d) - IT Operations

Your Tasks

• Manage and oversee large technology projects (programs) to meet objectives/deliverables in terms of value and quality
• Monitor and communicate progress of projects.
• Escalate impediments and performs pro-active risk management
• Assist with economic decision-making by facilitating feature and capability estimation by teams(up to value stream and portfolio level)
• Coordinate proposal preparation incl. software selection, implementation, and migration.
• Define and assume responsibility for the approval process for country initiatives with IT impact.
• Consolidate, document and update product requirements from the countries and improves the quality with continuous feedback.

Your Profile

Technical Skills

1.Project Management Methodologies:
Expertise in Agile frameworks (e.g., SAFe, Scrum, Kanban) and Waterfall approaches.
Familiarity with tools like Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Project

2.Risk and Impediment Management:
Srong skills in identifying, escalating, and mitigating risks.
Proactive problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.

3.Economic Decision-Making:
Ability to facilitate cost-benefit analyses and make recommendations based on financial insights.
Knowledge of feature prioritization and capability estimation techniques.

4. IT and Software Lifecycle Knowledge:
Experience with software selection, implementation, and migration.
Understanding of IT systems and their impact on business processes.
 

Soft Skills

1. Stakeholder Management:
Excellent communication and collaboration skills to engage with stakeholders of varying technical expertise.
Proven ability to facilitate workshops and discussions across diverse teams.

2. Documentation and Requirements Gathering:
Strong writing skills for consolidating, documenting, and refining product requirements.

Qualifications

1. Education:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, business, or a related field (Master’s preferred).

2.Certifications (nice to have):
PMP (Project Management Professional), PRINCE2, or equivalent.
Agile certifications (e.g., SAFe Program Consultant, Certified Scrum Master).

3. Experience:
Minimum 5 years of experience managing large-scale technology projects.
Experience in multinational or multi-country project environments related to IT Operations (ITSM toolset, Asset Management, Monitoring tools, Support Operating models) is a plus.
