Develop and optimize processes and resources to ensure a competent and efficient local operations organization. Adapt local operations organization and footprint to execute division strategy.
Coordinate with Sales departments to ensure customer requirement are met and proper forecast is planned.- To ensure products are efficiently with correct amount at right costs and level of quality.
- Set up strategy and tactical plan for planning & control and logistics function to optimize inventory. Reports relevant KPIs.
- To Develop (by creating, evaluating and improving) and document manufacturing processes.
- To plan and organize resources according to production schedules.
- Estimate staff requirements, production times and relative costs to provide data for operational decisions.
- Find any abnormal production timely and follow the production problem until solved.
- To Implement and monitor performance of safety/quality/on time delivery/inventory turn-over/cost and so on.
- To manage and size the sales administration team according to targets.
- Manage transportation provider including selection, qualification and performance evaluation.
- Ensure the execution processes for export and import shipments, incorporating steps to drive cost effective and timely delivery for global customers.
- To ensure safety production zero accident, implement system for safety management thought training, improve production personnel safety awareness with HSQE.
- Identify critical components on supply chain and define sourcing strategy accordingly.
- Supply chain management and optimization.
- Cooperate with QA for supplier audit performance review.
- Continuous improvement of costs, delivery times, quality, on time delivery and payment terms.
- Work to improve the management for sourcing team. Process optimization, coaching and development.
- To analyze the global purchase of standard components to achieve lowest price and the best contract terms for the group.
- Fulfill the tasks assigned by top management within the matrix organization. Support other Bus with sourcing activities.
- Collaborate effectively with the rest of the local organization (Finance & Administration, Services, HSQE, People &Culture, Marketing and Sales, R&D).
- Establish performance targets with top management and then measure and track costs savings / increases to performance targets.
- Support other category managers and business units for sourcing tasks.
- Cooperating with other companies within the group to leverage buys with global spend and transversal projects (ERP, HR, Finance reporting, …).
