The project!

As a Telecommunications Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our telecommunications systems as a member of the Business Technology Team, based at our Barcelona office in Sant Feliu de Llobregat.

What will the role entail?

• Design and implement telecommunications solutions to support corporate operations.


• Configure and manage Cisco and Fortinet network devices.


• Monitor and optimize network performance to ensure reliability and efficiency.


• Troubleshoot and resolve network issues in a timely manner.


• Collaborate with other teams to align to align telecommunications strategies with business goals.


• Ensure compliance with IT standards and security protocols.


• Maintain detailed documentation of network configurations and changes.

• At least 2 years of experience working in telecommunications.


• High level of English and Spanish.


• High level of Excel.

• Required Technical Skills:
  
  • Skills in configuring and managing Cisco routers, switches, and firewalls
  
  
  • Experience with Cisco IOS and NX-OS
  
  
  • Strong knowledge of Fortinet firewals, VPNs, and security appliances
  
  
  • Experience with FortiGate and FortiAnalyzer (Fortinet NSE certification preferred)
  
  
  • Network management: VLANs, routing protocols (OSPF, BGP), and network segmentation.
  
  
  • Problem-solving skills for diagnosing and resolving network issues efficiently.
  
  

• Additional Valuable Skills:
  
  • Knowledge of VoIP, SIP, and communications platforms.
  
  
  • Wireless Networking: Experience with designing and managing wireless networks. Knowledge of Wi-Fi standards and best practices.
  
  
  • Familiarity with Meraki SD-WAN solutions and their implementation.
  
  
  • Certifications such as CCNA
