We are seeking a Senior Engineer – High-Speed Signal Integrity to drive research in next-generation high-speed wireline electrical communication. This role is part of the High-Speed High-Frequency team within the Board Engineering department (Lab) at our Grenoble Research Center.

You will work closely with our HQ technical team in China to develop cutting-edge high-speed SerDes systems (112 Gbit/s and beyond). You will contribute to the design, simulation, and analysis of high-speed interconnects and PCBs while shaping the technology roadmap for high-speed signal integrity.

Duties and Responsibilities

Research and develop high-speed interconnects (passive channels) for next-gen systems 112+Gbps per lane
High-speed PCB design, simulation, and signal integrity analysis
Conduct lab verification of high-speed designs
Collaborate with the HQ team in China through technical reviews, reporting, and project planning
Define the technology roadmap and research strategy for high-speed interconnects

Requirements

? Master’s degree or PhD preferred in Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, Communication Engineering, or Electromagnetic Science
? Extensive experience in high-speed telecom/communication hardware architecture design
? Proven track record in 56Gbps+ product development and delivery
? Deep expertise in high-frequency PCB design, including impedance control and crosstalk management
? Experience in system-level simulation (PCB, connector, and cable-level analog signal simulation)
? Strong understanding of PCB/HDI stack-up design, fabrication limitations, and cost factors
? Knowledge of high-speed SerDes architectures (Rx/Tx SerDes PHY, equalization techniques, CDR, DSP challenges)

Preferred Skills

? Familiarity with high-speed serial hardware (SerDes, ASIC, DSP, PCB, connectors)
? Hands-on expertise in high-speed lab experiments (real-time oscilloscopes, VNAs) and simulation correlation
? Knowledge of industry standards (IEEE 802.3, OIF-CEI, InfiniBand, CEI-224G)

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Handle incoming message requests from customers of a payment platform over phone, chat, and email and provide resolution to end users.
  • Record case resolutions in the contact center tool based on client communication.
  • Ensure that cases are resolved within the case life cycle.
  • Escalate priority issues per client specifications to the immediate lead if applicable.
  • Work independently and within a team to meet objectives.
  • Communicate well with internal and external contacts.
  • Provide exemplary customer experience.
  • Meet quality standards on all handled contacts.
  • Follow the schedule of work days and hours, be ready to start working on time.
  • Handle contacts while maintaining the targets defined for the project: response time, handle time, and resolution rate aligned with project KRAs.
  • Consider any additional ad hoc tasks that may contribute to better service to the client or improvement of your KPIs.
  • Attend trainings and keep updated on processes and tools.

Requirements

  • Proficient in Finnish (C1) and fluent in English (B1+) language, both verbal and written.
  • Previous experience in an outsourced customer service environment is nice to have.
  • Willingness to relocate to Riga or already residing there.
  • EU citizenship or valid work permit for Latvia.
  • Computer literacy with a minimum typing skill of 50 wpm with 90% accuracy.
  • Optimistic, friendly, positive, and self-motivated personality.
  • Ability to work in a team and focus on problem solving.
  • Service-oriented profile with a focus on resolving issues efficiently.
  • Ability to work shift hours/part-time (to the extent legally possible), adapting quickly to changes in prioritization.
  • No remarks in a background check (e.g., no criminal record) and willingness to participate in such a background check during the recruitment process.

Manage Communications – Coordinate with the operations control room and external agencies regarding CCTV operations
? Oversee Operations – Maintain and ensure proper functioning of CCTV equipment, including procurement of supplies and repairs
Perform Daily Checks – Test and clean cameras, ensure proper recording and functionality
CCTV System Management – Ensure cameras are connected and identified on monitoring systems (e.g., AXIS, Milestone, Hikvision)
