Accountant with Fluent English - Benelux Market will be responsible for:

Role description:

The accountant will report to the Finance Manager Benelux and Supervisor EMEA Accounting Shared Services. The accountant supports the books of 4 entities, with support of Finance Manager Benelux, within company to ensure correct financial books and adherence to Corporate timelines. The position offers involvement in many aspects of accounting in coordination with the Accounting Shared Service in Barcelona. The accountant will support the finance manager with the month and year end closings and reporting, assist in providing information to auditors and to EY (the tax provider).

Key responsibilities:

  • Support and review the activity of the Accounting Shared service on AR, AP, banks, travel expenses
  • Make sure that all Balance Sheet GLs are reconciled and cleaned-up on monthly basis
  • Assist EY (tax provider) regarding Monthly VAT, intracom, intrastat declarations
  • Manage treasury and ensure sufficient liquidity is present, validate payment proposals, prepare requests for payments…
  • Prepare journal entries related to daily activities and month-end close requirements: Payroll, Interco invoices, release of orders, fixed assets, month-end reclasses, etc
  • Timely preparation of monthly closing of accounts for the 4 legal entities of the company
  • Prepare month-end reconciliations (reporting package for Corporation)
  • Support the Finance Manager in preparation of annual financial statements and supporting documentation for external auditors
  • Working on statistical reports to the NBB

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

  • Prospect and qualify leads from a list of targeted contacts and accounts.
  • Present and clearly communicate RavenPack’s value proposition to major decision-makers.
  • Leverage leading-edge sales and marketing tools to research and identify ideal personas to prospect
  • Track and manage prospects through Salesforce.com.
  • Perform high volume outbound prospecting through emailing campaigns, calls and research tools such as LinkedIn or Salesforce.

Qualifications
