Research Assistant in the Department of Finance

General research activities on practical and applied articles aimed to be published in practitioner-oriented journals. The activities include:

  • Preparing a database for the project
  • Performing initial statistical analyses of the relevant variables
  • Replicating the investment strategies being explored
  • Reviewing and commenting on the article prepared

The activities also include

  • Periodic updating of the research databases

The Catalogue Specialist will be responsible for the global catalogue
strategy, reporting to the Head of the department, she/he will be in charge of all the

motivated to achieve the objectives.

What will the role entail?

  • Work with the Catalogue Manager ensures excellent catalog integration.
    Creation the offer for each season. Daily use of Tradebyte and our PIM to
    manage catalogues updates. Identification and correction of incidents through
    our PIM.
  • Uploading product images to the sales channels through our PIM.
  • Prices: Full price and sale prices: Promotions, sales period, launches...etc
  • Updating product information once published (descriptions, filters, other
    information of products...)
  • Review of all changes in staging enviroments before publishing to production
  • Interdepartmental collaboration. Ability to collaborate with multiple
    stakeholders and projects: assortmen, deliveries, merchandising strategy, etc
  • Strong organization skills & multi-tasking

  • Research Assistant (RA) will work independently and in collaboration with IESE Professors in research projects in the areas of economics / finance / marketing. Reporting to the Global Head of R2R, your main responsibilities will be:

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and compliance within the RTR process across markets and countries.
  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to monitor the performance of the RTR process.
  • Analyze and report on process performance; identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as necessary with BPO and Regional Controlling and FP&A teams.
  • Support the further Global design of effective controls to mitigate risks associated with the RTR process.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to leverage technology solutions that enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the RTR process. Ongoing projects are: implementing Blackline tool, improving the existing master data BAU governance model, COA harmonization, designing improved S4 security roles
  • Support x-loss P2P, OTC and RTR improvement projects. Examples: implementing new OTC CRMs and a new global expense PO accrual tool.
  • Be the driver to work with SMEs to identify clear problem statements and processes to be improved and work with BPO to update Global process documentations (L4/L5) templates published on Blueworks.
  • Coordinate and review periodically and enhancing the existing RACMs.
  • Coordinate internal & external audit requests relating to our BPO services.



The above requires coordination activities with cross functional teams based in Spain, France, Germany, Italy and Benelux and the Finance teams of the non-operational holding entities in NL, Norway, Sweden, and the UK.

This high impact role is very well connected with the central finance teams (Tax, FP&A, Cash Management, Legal, HR) and the shared services.
