International Group Hotel based in Mallorca, Balearic Islands, Spain.



Reporting to the GM, your main responsibilities will be:

  • Ensure accurate maintenance of financial records, compliance with accounting standards, and adherence to legal and regulatory requirements, including preparation and review of financial statements;
  • Establish robust cash management controls, prepare cash flow forecasts, and oversee reconciliations of balance sheet accounts to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies;
  • Supervise the Finance and Accounting department, ensuring smooth operations and timely delivery of financial reports, while also providing training and development opportunities to enhance team skills;
  • Direct the preparation of annual budgets and monthly forecasts, establish major financial objectives and policies, and conduct analysis to minimize variances and maximize return on investment;
  • Contribute financial insights and recommendations to strategic planning processes, establish functional objectives aligned with organizational goals, and prepare long-term capital and operational projections;
  • Maintain professional relationships with stakeholders such as owners, asset managers, and corporate teams, reporting on financial performance, acting as a business advisor, and addressing specific requirements;
  • Ensure compliance with company finance directives, local regulations, and internal controls, coordinate with internal and external audit teams, and mitigate risks related to financial operations and reporting;
  • Provide training to enhance financial skills of management teams, set individual development plans, and coach colleagues for future growth and development;
  • Coordinate with auditors, investigate findings and recommendations, review and certify financial reports before distribution, and monitor legal issues and tax compliance, ensuring timely resolution;
  • Implement best practices, share insights with Finance Leadership Committee, address ad hoc requests, and contribute to the ongoing improvement of financial processes and operations.

Reporting to the CFO and CEO/COO, your main responsibilities will be:



* Ensure strong Financial Management within a robust control environment;
* Have ultimate responsibility for accurate accounting records and provide financial reports for the Hotels and Restaurants;
* Manage the Finance relationship with Operations and Finance at hotel and head office ensuring that an excellent service is provided through quality input;
* Provide focused, innovative and value-adding Management Reporting and Analysis;
* Deliver high quality management information and performance measurement that is accurate and relevant;
* Ensure reporting that incorporates benchmarking, identification and measurement of key performance indicators and use of balanced scorecard.;
* Optimize and develop Systems to improve efficiency and information;
* Ensure training takes place for users; challenge processes to eliminate non-value adding tasks;
* Work with colleagues to ensure that errors are corrected at source and processes amended as required, eliminating rather than correcting errors;
* Lead the Planning and Forecasting process for London and ensure that financial plans are consistent with the strategic objectives;
* Pro-actively support the General Managers and finance team in Hotel strategic planning, focusing on value opportunities;
* Manage the formulation, review and approval process for budgeting within the hotels and restaurants;
* Lead, develop and inspire a high-quality Finance Team;
* Actively plan for succession to develop and replace individuals effectively;
* Develop effectiveness of the Finance function through continuous training and development of the team. Lead and motivate the team to high levels of performance;
