As a member of the Order to Cash team and reporting directly to the O2C Global Services Manager your main responsibilities will be:

  • Organize the daily workload and tasks of the team (8 people) to make sure cash is allocated timely in all countries ensuring an as up to date status as possible of the individual outstanding customer receivables
  • Monitoring performance and proactively managing day to day workload to ensure that KPI's are met.
  • Organize the team to follow up properly on unallocated cash
  • Enhance the effectiveness of the cash allocations tool to increase efficiency in the process
  • Manage the refund process to make sure no aged open payments stay on the receivables ledger and requests from clients are quickly and correctly addressed
  • Properly adhere to and have controls in place to make sure all relevant Group and Regional policies are respected
  • Prepare reporting on cash movements to assist cash-flow analysis
  • Work closely with the Collections team to make sure difficulties are addressed and feedback is sought and acted upon
  • Internal/External Audit Support
  • Prepare month end reconciliations reports and support bank reconciliation tasks
  • Coordinating holidays, back-up plan, monthly 121s)
  • First level of escalation for any issues raised by team members
  • Participate in the improvement of processes to increase team efficiency.
  • First point of contact for other departments regarding team-wide topics.

  • Business Reporting: Prepare comprehensive reports and board presentations for internal and external stakeholders, summarizing findings and providing actionable insights. Host frequent touchpoints to deliver business insights.
  • Capital Markets & Economic Research: Provide intelligence on hotel transactions (purchases, developments, refurbishments) and relevant capital raises (debt and equity). Prepare benchmarking analysis at hotel at company level. Analyze and report macro and micro economic trends.
  • Business Plans: Collaborate with senior management to elaborate, update and refine hotel business plans.
  • Hotel Valuations: Lead the external valuation processes of the company, including organizing appraisals and maintaining robust support for the process (transaction comparables, trading comparables, yield and market trends).
  • Cash Flow Modeling: Create and maintain our cash flow model to forecast the company's financial position. Liaise with the different teams such as Capex/transformation, Tax, Acquisitions, and finance to gather the inputs to feed the model.

Position Purpose:

  • Improve Page Group cash flow
  • Reduce and avoid Bad Debt
  • Identify and solve customers' disputes

As member of the Cash Collection Team, for France - the main Page Group Continental Europe country:

  • Contact and follow-up daily your customers by phone calls or e-mails

Experienced Backend Software Developer - Customer & Marketing (m/f/d)

Your Tasks

You'll join the Global Loyalty Development team, which is dedicated to crafting the best possible experience for our customers through the Loyalty & Customer Data product. By delivering appealing and easily accessible benefits across all touchpoints where our customers interact with MediaMarktSaturn, we strive to build strong and lasting relationships with our valued customers.

Your tasks will incluide:

  • Design, implement, and maintain robust backend services to support scalable and reliable applications for our Customer & Marketing environment using Kotlin
  • Utilize infrastructure tools such as Terraform, Kubernetes, GitOps with Flux, and Docker to build and manage scalable systems
  • Develop CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions to ensure smooth and efficient deployment processes
  • Work with Google Cloud products including BigQuery, GKE, PubSub and MongoDB Atlas to enhance and optimize cloud-based applications
  • Employ test frameworks like Kotest and Testcontainers to ensure high-quality, reliable code
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of our development processes and code base while working with the methods of agile software development such as Scrum or Kanban 

Your Profile

  • 3+ years of professional experience as a backend software developer with expertise in a JVM language, ideally Kotlin and its ecosystem
  • General understanding of containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes, preferably with hands-on experience
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), particularly Terraform is a plus
  • Familiarity with GitOps practices and experience using GitHub Actions for CI/CD
  • Experience in working with cloud services, preferably with GCP: BigQuery, GKE and PubSub
  • Familiarity with managing and integrating APIs
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a remote team environment
  • Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to challenges
  • Passion for continuous learning and staying updated with the latest technologies in the field
